Ring in the new year by revamping your hair care routine! It is so important to take care of your strands to achieve the luscious hair of your dreams, but we’re making it even easier with our newest multitasker: Scenic Route. This 3-in-1 hair must-have will change your hair game. Buckle up: Better hair days are ahead!

What is Scenic Route Hair Treatment?

Scenic Route is our restorative, 3-in-1 hair treatment that can be used as a daily conditioner, intensely hydrating hair mask on wet or dry hair, or as a detangling leave-in treatment. It is formulated with a combination of coconut oil and grapeseed oil to seal in moisture and promote shine without adding weight to your hair.

Will it make my hair greasy?

Scenic Route will not leave hair greasy, even though it contains hair-loving oils. The oils it contains are lightweight and are formulated to moisturize and add a healthy shine.

Glycerin is commonly used in facial moisturizers as an emollient (aka it’ll soften and smooth the scales of the skin, which help reduce rough, flaky skin). This means not only your hair is getting a dose of hydration, your scalp is too! And a healthy scalp leads to even better hair.

Is Scenic Route Hair Treatment silicone-free?

Scenic Route is silicone-free. While we believe silicone has its place in beauty, your hair isn’t one of them. Silicone can clog your hair follicles which can inhibit hair growth. It is also one of the many causes of pesky dandruff. Silicone can cause buildup on your scalp which leads to flakiness.

But what is Behentrimonium Methosulfate?

Sulfates have a bad rap for being too effective at cleaning your hair. They strip natural oils from the scalp and hair which can make hair dry and brittle.

However, despite its name, one of the ingredients in Scenic Route called Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a non-sulfate. It is derived from rapeseed oil which is recognized for its effective detangling abilities. It’s able to penetrate the hair shaft gently, yet effectively, which makes it an excellent moisturizer and conditioner. It does not coat the scalp or cause buildup.

How do I use Scenic Route Hair Treatment?

At Wander Beauty, we’re all about multitasking and creating fewer, better essentials. When we were creating Scenic Route, we decided to upgrade your regular conditioner to a 3-in-1 treatment does it all.

Daily Conditioner

Use Scenic Route as a traditional conditioner. After washing your hair with shampoo, slather on the conditioner and let it sit for 3 minutes. Exfoliate, shave, and/or sing while you wait for Scenic Route to work its magic! After rinsing, your hair should feel cleansed, smoother, and softer.

Hydrating Hair Mask

One of the best ways to nourish hair is by using a hair mask. There are so many benefits to using a hair mask on not just wet but dry hair. Fully saturate hair in Scenic Route and leave on for 20 minutes while you go about your day (our favorite hack: wear your hair mask to the gym!) and rinse to achieve your softest, most luxurious mane yet. The amount of hair treatment needed depends on your hair thickness and length. Adjust as needed!

Detangling Leave-in Treatment

Leave-in treatments are the perfect hair remedies for our Wander Beauties who want maximum benefits with little effort. To use Scenic Route as a leave-in treatment, apply a small amount onto your palms and rub together, gently smooth into hair starting from the ends and moving upward. Let it sit as you carry on with your other activities. Hair will be silky soft and tangle-free once you wash it out.

What are the benefits of using a hair treatment?

We created a 3-in-1 hair treatment because we’re all about making your beauty routine work harder for you. Here are the benefits of using a hair treatment in your routine:

  • Added moisture
  • Shinier, stronger, and softer hair
  • A healthy scalp
  • Less frizz and reduced hair breakage and damage
