Multitasking Moment: Here’s Every Way to Use Wander Beauty’s Dualist Concealer

While it may be fun to display tons of potions and lotions on your vanity, there’s nothing more stressful than digging through an overflowing beauty bag as you rush to get ready in the morning. That’s why we’re all about fewer products that allow you to do more with less.

One of our must-have multitaskers for every occasion? Dualist Matte and Illuminating Concealer, which combines a creamy tug-free stick concealer on one end with illuminating liquid on the other so you can customize your concealer coverage for any and every occasion.<product>1</product>

Not sure exactly how to maximize this mulitasker’s use? Read on for our best tips and tricks for using Dualist Concealer!

Under-eye Concealer

One of the easiest ways to fake awake is to tackle tired, dark under-eyes. Use the matte side of Dualist under eyes (we like a triangle formation) and pat in with your ring finger to cover darkness and discoloration under the eye.

To do double-duty and brighten eyes, follow with the liquid illuminator end: Apply a few dots on top of where you concealed, and pat in with your ring finger. The illuminating end adds additional coverage and a brightening glow.

Banish Blemishes

Is there anything worse than an unexpected blemish? Make them instantly disappear with Dualist. The matte end is similar to a lipstick bullet: With one flat side and a pointed tip, it’s easy to target a blemish or dark spot, no matter how large or small. Apply the flat side to conceal larger areas, and pinpoint smaller marks with the pointed tip. Blend out with a finger or fluffy brush for a natural finish.

Hide Dark Spots, Redness and Discoloration

Like a blemish, you can use Dualist’s matte end to conceal dark spots. To further even out skin tone and brighten, follow with the illuminating liquid on top.

Dualist is also a master at covering redness - whether it’s redness around the nose or discoloration from rosacea or melasma, Dualist can be used to even skin tone while also hydrating and treating skin with skin-loving ingredients including aloe vera extract, collagen and vitamin E.

Highlight

“Highlighting” doesn’t always mean layering on the disco ball shimmer. While highlighting may seem like a pro level makeup skill, Dualist simplifies highlighting into a single step: Using Dualist’s illuminating liquid to target tops of cheeks, bridge of nose and brow bone before tapping in with a finger.

This subtle way of highlighting brings a natural brightness and luminosity (minus the shimmer) to the face in seconds. And, it’s one less product in your beauty bag!

Complexion Perfection

If you’re not one for a full face of foundation, but are seeking a bit more coverage, use Dualist to achieve complexion perfection. Apply to the center of face (focusing under eyes, on chin, and middle of forehead), and blend outwards using your hands or a brush.

By concealing from the center of the face outward, you’re giving the illusion of a flawless, brightened complexion without masking skin, allowing it to look naturally perfected.
