Meet Suki Wong, our Product Development Associate who’s one of the masterminds behind all of the latest and greatest Wander Beauty multitaskers. We’re taking a peek into her fall makeup and skincare routine to see how she gets gorgeous with only a few minutes to spare each morning.

I like to keep it really simple because I'm someone who doesn't like to carry a bunch of items with me when I'm on-the-go. My makeup bag itself is the iconic Glossier pink pouch. I throw everything in there and I even use it as a clutch sometimes. Inside, I will always have my MAC Brow Gel in Bold Brunette for any brow touch ups. My all time favorite eyeshadow is always with me and that is the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in New Moon. It's a beautiful shimmer that washes up on the lids while keeping it natural. I love it. Another essential is mascara! My eyelashes are nothing without mascara but Wander Beauty’s Unlashed does so much for me. Wander’s Unlashed Mascara makes my lashes more voluminous and gives my eyes the va-va-voom they need. I’m instantly awake the minute I swipe it on. I also always have Lancome Artliner in Black in my makeup bag, just in case I feel like adding a winged liner that day.

I rarely use foundation, but when I have somewhere important to go, I always have Wander Beauty's Wanderlust (Medium) on-hand. I can't tell you just how much I dislike thick, heavy foundation. I feel like it weighs my face down and it is just not the best for hot summer days (especially in NYC humidity). With Wanderlust, it’s a completely different story. I can wear this during the hot summer heat in LA or in NYC and it will withstand the humidity. Trust me, it will. It is also sooooo silky and smooth (I wouldn’t work in Product Development if I didn’t mention that Wanderlust starts as a liquid before being turned into the powder you know and love!), making the application process so satisfying because it glides and sits so beautifully onto my skin. Absolutely love it.

For lips, I always have the Glossier Balm Dotcom with me. I also always have a lipstick or two in my bag depending on the time of year and my current obsessions. Currently, I have Glossier's Gen G in Leo and Maybelline's Color Sensation in Deepest Cherry in my bag. Heck, Gen G in Leo is always in my bag because it's just the perfect brown for my skin tone.

Last but not least - I always have my life saver with me, Clinique's Acne Solution Clearing Gel. I've been using it ever since my mom introduced it to me. There are times I feel an unwanted friend trying to surface onto my face and I use this baby to tell the intruder that she's not invited. The next day, she goes away. It's ahhhmazing!

I'm not into the whole 5,000 steps skincare routine, which may be surprising because I love the ritual of skincare.

During the day, I like to use Origins' Mega Bright cleanser as a starter. It makes my skin smooth and instantly brightens with its rich ingredients. Then I go into using a face mist, like La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water Face Mist or Wander’s Glow Getter Mist to soothe and tone my skin. Afterwards, I like to use Glossier's Super Bounce serum and Glossier's Priming Moisturizer Rich. Finally, I always add sunscreen no matter the season. Hands down, Glossier's Invisible Shield is my favorite. It actually got me into using sunscreen daily because it isn't thick and it doesn't leave a white cast. I sometimes use Coola's Classic Face Sport SPF 50 - White Tea if I am trying to skip out of the house quickly (it's a moisturizer and sunscreen, #convenient).

Nighttime skincare is very important because this is the time when your skin cells are responsible for repair and regeneration. I start off using Garnier's Skin Active Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes to remove my makeup. Next up, Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser or Origin's Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Micellar Cleanser to cleanse all my makeup off. That's my version of a double cleanse, removing all makeup and residue off of my skin. Next up, I like to use a chemical exfoliator every other day - it's quite addicting. Depending on my mood, I would use Glossier's Solution or Sunday Riley Good Genes with my all time favorite MUJI's Cut Cotton. After it dries, I sometimes use a sheet mask or clay mask for 15 minutes and move onto the next step of my routine. This includes a roller for my face - I'm so obsessed with it lately! Then, depending on how my skin feels after all of that, I either use a face oil or just moisturize for the night. Then voila! I am done for the night and it's time for bed.
